It All Starts At The Center

What is The Center?

The Center is our meeting place. It’s where we come together and get reminded of our life and purpose in God. It is our place for youth nights, Bible studies, tutoring, and more. It is where we learn upreach. These past few years have been hard on many of us, but we have found that teens might be struggling the most. Missed schooling, extensive isolation, screen time, and boredom have produced many bad habits and lost ground. Idle hands are the devil’s workshop. It’s our job to work harder than ever to reach out to our youth. We have seen that at a drop of a hat, teens are ready and waiting for some kind of constructive activity with people who care. That is why we outgrew our previous space and have acquired a new building in the inner city. We are busy with renovations as we are now hosting our youth nights there on a regular basis.

Thank God for all those who have supported the renovations of The Center! October 1st was our soft opening and we saw God move! The newly renovated center was full of youth and their families as we came together to worship, hear a message from the chaplain of the New York Knicks, play some games, and eat a delicious meal.

From this point forward, The Center will be open every Saturday night 7-9pm for youth nights!
